another day off work actually.. hmm, i've been sick about 1 week now and it's time to get better - but as Buddha said "the phoenix can fly only when it's feathers are grown." This is also part of the sickness - spontaneously blurting out quotes from Buddha. Without much to occupy my brain i've been straying onto subjects like cosmology - black holes and space/time. My heroes at the moment are Professor Stephen Hawking and Professor Ed Witten http://www.sns.ias.edu/~witten/ . Oh my god that guy is clever.
It's still raining, cold and dark out there - winter is here already. Maybe I should watch 'Neighbours' to bring some sunshine into my life. Or eat an apple. Or make yet another cup of tea.
off to the shops now to get some food for my empty fridge...it's like a black hole in there at the moment :-o
